Collection: Indigenous Designs by Mark V. Nadjiwan

A Canadian self-taught pen and ink artist, Mark Nadjiwan's art is inspired by his First Nation heritage.  His First Nation roots are grounded in the Lake Superior and Georgian Bay Regions and he now resides in the traditional territory of the Anishnabek Nation. His unique style is primarily a "fusion" of the Woodland and Northwest Coast Native art traditions. In his works, one will often observe the Woodland's characteristic x-ray and wavy line motifs interwoven with the clean formlines and geometry that often typify Northwest Coast art.
